think it depends on which centers. The one my boy attended this year is not good.

I don’t think Kip Mcgrath caters to just weak students and students in primary level only. My daughter is in a secondary SAP school and goes to Kip Mcgrath at Tampines Changkat for maths. I’m happy as my daughter enjoys it there.

Kip McGrath caters to average and high ability students too ad they teach according to the students’ learning needs . The one at Clementi has has good tutors that helped my children of average abilities excel.

Hello
I am interested in this place but would like to inquire more information. I am from Laos and would like my son and daughter, 12 and 13 years of age respectively, to have extra tuition there during their summer break here in Laos. (Summer Break is from 20th June to 1st August)
Can anyone help with telling me the tuition fees, and scheduled time for English and Math tuition courses? They would be in Primary 6 or Secondary 1 level. Furthermore, if anyone can help with telling me if there are any accomodations or student hostels provided around that area?
Your help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

I also heard from many that Kip Mcgrath is quite popular in giving tuiton for those weaker students. I planning to send my kid over there.

I tried S1 English tuition with Kip McGrath at Serangoon but she did not find it beneficial and quitted after half a year. I felt the centre is not good for Secondary level.

I feel that it also depends on the student. My child gave a positive feedback after attending the Secondary English class.

Well, your fear is unfound. Kip McGrath tutoring method is more on individualised attention catering to individual child weaknesses.
My child is presently having his tuition at Kip McGrath-Thomson (located at Thomson CC). With the help of the dedicated teachers there, his result has improved. Of course, this depends on the child as well.

Is it true? A tuition centre just cater to weak students? Then how about those average students, can they go there for tuition too? Will they become slower too if they join those weaker ones? Just my concern.

If you’re worried, send your child to those elite centres located in united squares or upper bukit timah area! They’re not listed here. That way, your child will surely be tops lor.

My son is in the last class of his school and heard from him that most of his classmates are there. Maybe this centre just cater to those weak students cos those good students from the first 3 classes are not there. Hard to find a centre like KMED in Singapore
Maybe those good students they do not require any tuition in the first place, that is why they are not there.

I have heard quite a few good comments from other people saying that Kip Mcgrath is good at teaching those weak students. I am thinking of sending my son there as he is quite weak in his English language. Hope to see result soon!
