Frankel Tutors was started in 1996, as a tuition school with only four teachers. This tutorial school has been registered with the Ministry of Education and works at a reasonable market rate for tuition. The school started with only ten students at a shop lot in Frankel Avenue. It began to grow at steady rate all these years and had 120 students at its peak time. The School is used by students mainly from the Opera estate, Siglap and Frankel estate areas.

I stay in the Kembangan area and find that there has been quite a few centres opened up in the last 2 years alone. I have a child moving on to Sec 3 next year, and after asking around at three places (including f tutors), I find i am most impressed by the the replies the Frankel centre people gave me regarding what goes on in their classes and materials supplied. Saying that, I tried enrolling her into the 2011 S2 classes, but dismayed to find all already full. Boo. Why can’t they just squeeze one more student in? They didnt budge on this despite having 4 weekly science classes, and me coming in ‘recommended’ by my neighbours. Let’s hope daughter does well enough to attend their Pure Science classes next year!
